MackMad’s Coatings (MMC) is an exterior siding and trim prefinishing plant located in Strawberry Plains Tennessee.  Our state-of-the-art facility is currently serving Knox, Jefferson, Sevier and surrounding counties, and is conveniently located to interstate transportation.  Using fibered cement, cedar, pine or like materials raises the value of a home and is an investment for a homeowner.  It only makes sense to use a method that is more cost effective and yet provides a better finished product.  What MackMad’s Coatings has is a unique way of completely encapsulating the wood or cementitious substrate, giving your homeowner a better product while saving money.

We begin by receiving the order to our factory where we check in, count, and then store the material.  This ensures that it will not only be dry, but that it is painted under the best possible conditions.  When it is time to run the order we use Sherwin William's specially formulated machine finish paint.  Using Sherwin Williams not only means that your homeowner has access to any of their 3,000 stores world-wide, but can achieve up to a twenty-five year warranty with their order.  We fully encapsulate the material coating it on all six sides… something a field painter is simply not able to do.  After coating the material it is placed horizontally on drying racks in a climate controlled setting, allowing the paint to fully cure.

      After the order is completely dry, MackMad’s Coatings then packages it in polyethylene foam and plastic to ensure that it is protected from any abrasion or moisture.
      Once packaged, your retailer then picks up the material and delivers it straight to your jobsite.
